PRAXIS Executive Academy

Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the PRAXIS Executive Academy website, courses, learning materials, assessments, certificates and related services.

Effective 3 September 2026

1. About PRAXIS

PRAXIS Executive Academy is operated by Anuradha Wickramasinghe, trading as PRAXIS Executive Academy, of 520C, Kelaniya, Sri Lanka. In these terms, “PRAXIS”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the Academy and its proprietor.

2. Acceptance of these terms

By visiting the website, creating an account, purchasing or accessing a course, you agree to these Terms and Conditions, our Privacy Policy, Refund and Cancellation Policy, and any course-specific requirements shown before purchase. If you do not agree, you must not purchase or use the services.

3. Eligibility and learner accounts

4. Courses and access

Course descriptions, learning outcomes, estimated duration and access periods will be displayed on the relevant course page. “Under six hours” is an estimated content duration; actual completion time varies by learner. We may make reasonable academic or technical updates that do not materially reduce the course purchased.

5. Prices and payment

Prices are stated in Sri Lankan Rupees unless otherwise indicated. Payment must be successfully completed through the available payment method before access is granted. Banks or payment providers may apply their own charges, currency conversion rates or security checks. PRAXIS does not store complete card information.

6. Promotions, collections and subscriptions

Promotional offers are subject to their stated dates and conditions and cannot normally be combined. Course collections and PRAXIS Unlimited provide access only to the courses and period described at purchase. Unless automatic renewal is expressly enabled and disclosed, access ends when the purchased period expires.

7. Refunds and cancellation

Refunds are governed by the Refund and Cancellation Policy. The standard request period is 24 hours from the recorded time of purchase and all eligibility conditions in that policy apply.

8. Assessments and certificates

A certificate is issued only when the registered learner completes the required course components and meets the stated assessment standard. PRAXIS may withhold, cancel or revoke a result or certificate where there is evidence of impersonation, plagiarism, unauthorised assistance, account sharing, manipulation or other academic misconduct. A certificate confirms completion of a PRAXIS course; it is not a degree, professional licence or guarantee of employment, promotion or admission unless expressly stated otherwise.

9. Intellectual property

All course videos, slides, notes, frameworks, assessments, certificates, branding and website content are owned by or licensed to PRAXIS. Your purchase grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the materials for your own learning. You may not copy, record, download where downloading is not enabled, reproduce, distribute, publish, sell, modify, translate, upload or commercially exploit the content without written permission.

10. Acceptable use

You must not interfere with the website, bypass access controls, introduce malicious code, scrape content, misuse another learner’s information, make fraudulent payments, share assessment answers or use the services unlawfully. We may suspend or terminate access where these terms are breached, while taking reasonable account of the seriousness of the breach.

11. Availability and third-party services

We aim to keep the website and courses available, but uninterrupted access cannot be guaranteed. Maintenance, internet failures, security events or third-party services may cause temporary disruption. Links or services provided by payment, video, email or other third parties may also be governed by their own terms and privacy practices.

12. Educational disclaimer and liability

PRAXIS courses provide general professional education and do not constitute legal, medical, financial, psychological or other individual professional advice. You remain responsible for workplace and personal decisions. To the extent permitted by applicable law, PRAXIS is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of the services. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms to reflect changes in services, technology or legal requirements. The effective date will be revised when changes are published. Material changes affecting an existing purchase will be communicated where reasonably practicable.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. The parties should first attempt to resolve concerns in good faith. Subject to any mandatory consumer rights, unresolved disputes will be submitted to the competent courts of Sri Lanka.
